excellenteWell, it has a week. In case I haven't mentioned it before, I have hugely overcommitted myself this summer. Studying full time plus a job that varies from 24-30+ hours a week. It's a lot. I did take a couple weeks work over Christmas and New Year, but was still hard at study.
Work started back this week, and I had two assignments to get done. The one due on Wednesday happened. The one due Friday resulted in a pretty substantial meltdown and another extension. Saturday I went to temple for services and then hopped on a plane to join my partner at their parent's place in the South Island. They've come home for a month over summer, and we'll both head back home on Wednesday, but until then I'm going to be taking a well deserved and much needed break.
Haven't done heaps of writing the first two nights here, but hoping to do a bunch Monday-Tuesday since I have an approaching deadline!
So, results for this week. First off I am pretty proud of hitting words every day this week despite how much I had going on. Only 54 words one day but words none the less!
That brings us to a week total of 2333, which isn't half bad, and a month (and year) total of 3153 again, nothing like the numbers I was pulling in November, and not as many as I'd like to have written, but given everything on this week, they're numbers I'm happy with! Building up to writing more will come with time, and for now I'm focusing on building up that habit foundation - 9 day streak so far!
